Today the US Navy dismissed Captain Brett Crozier who became Commander of Theodore Roosevelt. American Fire Captains are exposed to Corona Virus.
He revealed the unsafe situation on the boat which had now been pulled over in the waters of Guam. In the memo he said that they were unable to stem the spread of Covid-19 over Theodore Roosevelt who was carrying the 4,000 crew.
There are at least 100 crew members including naval soldiers aboard the corona virus. Crozier also reported that the corona virus had spread uncontrollably inside the ship.
“At the moment we are not at war, so we don’t need to die here. If we don’t act now. We are failing to protect our best assets, namely our sailors,” Crozier wrote in his memo.
With the news according to the memo. Pentagon officials said it had booked a hotel for the infected Theodore Roosevelt’s crew. Meanwhile he will arrange for the rest of the personnel not exposed to the virus to be able to continue operating the ship.
US Navy Chief of Staff Thomas Modly. Said Crozier was removed because the commander of the ship was considered to be distributing internal memos related to the situation, aboard the aircraft carrier due to the corona attack.
Crozier is considered unable to maintain the confidentiality of the internal, memo so that it spreads outside the scope of the US Navy.
